Mortgage Processors/Loan Analysts Job - Posted 9/15/09

Our client company, a global consulting firm, is building out its mortgage processing service center in the Cincinnati metro area.  As part of this growth, 35-40 new mortgage processors and mortgage loan analysts and consultants will be hired on to join the center.  These are full-time permanent positions, with great benefits!

Prior experience with mortgage industry experience is required, prefer some experience with credit underwriting.  Compensation is competitive, with annual salary & eligibility for incentive pay after 1 year of employment.  Annual salary will be in range from approx. $34,000 - $40,000.

No travel (or very little) outside the metro area will be required.

Candidates within up to 1-2 hours commuting distance of Milford OH can be considered as local candidates.  Candidates commute-able to the Milford, OH office only.

Requirements:

- Ideally, candidates will have minimum of 3 years of experience in the Mortgage Industry, as mortgage originations processor, mortgage analyst, mortgage loan consultant, loan underwriter, or some combination
 
- Ideally, candidates will have at least 6 months experience in credit underwriting, with understanding of FNMA, FHLMC and Government loans a PLUS

-Experience in reviewing and analyze all loan credit, income, and asset documents, including 1003 Application, Income (Pay stubs, W2, 1040), Full Appraisal Review, Title, Flood Certificate, Bailee Letter, Escrow details, Sales Contract, Credit Reports, Asset Documents such as bank statements, broker statements, gift letters, retirement accounts, etc…

-Ability to Review Conventional and Government mortgage loans for compliance of all applicable guidelines and ensure integrity of all data and process inputs

-Ability to validate integrity of all data, use the mortgage system and update client systems with the correct information.

-Ability to validate that all Desktop Underwriter/Loan Prospector  conditions are met with supporting documentation in loan file and all system inputs are accurate. DU/LP are Fannie and Freddie Automated Underwriter Systems (AUS)

-Experience in specialized mortgages (MECA, CO-OP, loan modifications)

-Ability to resolve outstanding loan stipulations

-Ability to calculate and accurately determine front-end and back-end ratios (LTV, DBR, etc) for credit underwriting decisions

-Good customer service skills although these jobs are “back-office” and not directly working with the borrowers

-Good problem solving skills

-Ability to maintain monthly performance measurements, including for production goals, compliance & regulatory requirements, customer satisfaction and deadlines
