Condominium Analyst.
Job Description:
Responsible for supporting the project management needs of a business unit, division, or company-wide. Has an understanding of the business unit(s) and the operating systems that support them. The responsibilities of the Condominium Review Analyst include but are not limited to the following: Review and analysis of condominium documents including but not limited to condominium legal documents, budget, insurance, appraisal and STM condo questionnaire in order to determine that project meets eligible condominium project guidelines as established by Fannie Mae/Freddie/Mac.
-Acts as subject matter expert on SunTrust and GSE’s (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/HUD/VA) project requirements across all business lines as necessary on condo project underwriting standards.
-Maintain departmental condo logs and database, and the SunTrust Approved Project List
- Remain up to date on latest condominium eligibility requirements and updates from GSE’s (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/HUD/VA
-Provides operational and administrative as needed in the preparation of departmental reports.
Basic Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of the business unit and related industry. Experience on project teams. Experience managing a segment of the project work. Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results. Strong problem-solving and partnership skills.
-Preferably a minimum of 3 years mortgage business experience in the area of credit and property underwriting and/or condo project approval. Position requires making sound decisions to maintain the credit quality objectives for the company. May require a general analysis of an individual credit underwriting package in order assess spot approvals from non-warrantable projects
-Advanced PC skills; including MLCS, Word, and Excel.
-Demonstrated ability to develop and apply creative business solutions.
-Demonstrated ability to work independently or within a team environment
-Ability to multitask and shift priorities as required. Must be detail oriented and must have professional written and verbal communication skills required to provide top quality customer service to branch personnel and internal/external customers. Strong time management and organizational skills desired.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Project.
