Join a mortgage leader! Prosperity Mortgage, a joint venture of Long & Foster and Wells Fargo, has exciting UNDERWRITING opportunities located in Richmond, VA and Towson, MD locations. This position will be employed by Wells Fargo and reside in a Prosperity Mortgage regional office.

As a Mortgage Underwriter, you will be responsible for lending decisions on FHA/VA, bond programs and conventional transactions, both conforming and jumbo.

The right candidates will possess a BA degree and 5-10 years directly related underwriting experience. You must be FHA DE, VA LAPP, VHDA, and CDA certified. The position requires strong knowledge and ability to handle complicated underwriting programs. Excellent customer service skills and written and verbal communication skills required.
