Calling all mortgage underwriters! If you’re looking for a challenging position with a great deal of responsibility and growth potential, we have just the opportunity for you. We’re looking for an underwriter for our busy mortgage brokerage office. In this important position, you’ll be responsible for the approval or denial of all mortgages for our brokerage office.

Responsibilities:

• Review all mortgage applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Work with clients to prepare mortgage applications and related documentation as needed, help resolve any outstanding issues
• Work with compliance officers to ensure Federal, State, and local compliance of all mortgage and loan materials
• Approve or deny mortgages on a timely basis
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of each loan

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a mortgage underwriter
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge
• Excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail
• College degree preferred
• Must have DU and DE Certification and/or Experience!
