Underwriter Job - Saginaw, MI - Posted 6/10/08

Mortgage Underwriter A dynamic Mid-Michigan financial institution is seeking an experienced mortgage underwriter familiar with FHLMC (Freddie Mac) guidelines. A minimum of 3 yrs. of experience preferred. Knowledge utilizing FHLMC automated underwriting is required, while experience with the FICS loan origination system is a plus. Job responsibilities will include reviewing, analyzing, approving and underwriting consumer mortgage requests within company and industry guidelines. The successful candidate will also be responsible for telephone and face to face contact with mortgage applicants.
