Conduct market research to determine market size, growth rate, and profitability for products in segment(s) assigned. Develop marketing plans and annual budgets for products.
Gather market intelligence, identify market opportunities, and develop plans to penetrate new opportunities.
Develop product specifications to meet customer requirements and expectations for segment(s) handled, manage the product development process from concept to product launch in order to meet customer expectations.
This position requires the equivalent of a B.A. or B.S. in Business with a Marketing major preferred. An MBA is desirable. The position requires a minimum of three years of related business experience in the printing or related industry, or in a value-added, business-to-business, consumable industrial products marketing environment. The incumbent must have strong technical marketing skills including strategy implementation, market research, budgeting, trend analysis and the use of other statistical techniques, project management skills, and analytical ability. Strong communication skills are needed.
