Job Description:
Growing mortgage company seeking Experienced Underwriters. This position requires a sharp knowledge of FHA, Conventional and VA loans.
This position exists to provide both underwriting, underwriting support to United Wholesale Staff and Brokers. Our goal is to provide all clients, internal and external, the best service in the industry as economically as possible. Our team can only achieve this goal by possessing and constantly demonstrating positive attitudes, possessing superior program knowledge, knowing all policies and procedures of United Wholesale as well the guidelines of our Investors and being effective communicators. Must be competent in underwriting fundamentals including property evaluation.
Looking to fill the 10am-7pm schedule quickly.
Skills:
Senior Underwriters are required to have a through knowledge of all products and guidelines in order to approve loans to be saleable in the secondary market. Must be able to analyze each loan submission to determine if the loan meets our investor’s guidelines and offer alternatives when the loan cannot be approved the way it was submitted. Must have the ability to review conditions on approved loan files and clear them when needed, know and answer product questions

EDUCATION: High School Graduate. College preferred
EXPERIENCE:5 years in underwriting
OTHER: Previous experience as a Loan Processor
