Responsible for confirming and verifying all loan application information. Also, must provide professional delivery of credit files to lending institutions in a timely manner. Establish and maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction for both the inside sales team and external clients.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review documentation (i.e. tax returns, bank statements, pay stubs, etc.) to make sure everything meets program guidelines, and sign off on received conditions once underwritten.
• Review file documentation to ensure all necessary items have been requested (i.e. purchase contacts, bankruptcy papers, trust documents, etc.)
• Order third party reports including credit reports, escrow instructions, preliminary title reports and appraisals.
• Structure loans in preparation for underwriting.
• Maintain dialogue with loan officers, lenders, real estate brokers, and escrow and title companies.
• Promote professionalism and customer confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential.
• Other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years experience in mortgage lending environment
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer and word processing skills, including knowledge of LOS software (Calyx)
• Should be detail-oriented, well organized, driven and a self starter
• Able to work independently with little supervision at times
• High School Diploma

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Most of the time is spent sitting and working on a computer, or standing in the same location. There may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 10 pounds).
