You as a Mortgage Loan Processor will -

  • Type appropriate verifications, orders credit reports, appraisals and other items necessary for underwriting submission.
  • Review loan submission information for completeness, accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Analyze loan information, reconciles, summarizes, and submits loan packages to NCM underwriting division for approval.
  • Submit loan packages for preparation of the closing papers. Be responsible for the correspondence with the title companies, realtors, buyers, and sellers to ensure closing of loan in accordance with NCM policies and procedures. Also communicate with private mortgage insurance companies, government agencies and other sources in regard to pending loans.
  • Prepare credit, denial, termination or change forms for cancellation denied loans and returns personal papers or cancelled or rejected loans.
  • Respond to agent and customer inquiries.
  • Be responsible for the use of trust accounts as assigned.
  • May be required to assist the loan closer in preparation of closing packages. Must be well versed in the various investor requirements.
  • Coordinate closings with realtors, purchasers, sellers, title companies, and loan closers.
  • Prepare credit, denial, termination or change forms for cancelled or denied loans, and returns personal papers on cancelled or rejected loans.

• Assist in training of the Receptionist and Loan Processor positions.You and your skills -

High School diploma or Educational equivalent

* Three years or more of processing/closing or related mortgage banking experience.
* Detailed knowledge of multiple loan products and comprehensive understanding of branch regulatory and procedural operating guidelines.
* Experience with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA loan products required
* Outstanding communication skills.
* Capable of working under extreme pressure from internal and external customers, maintaining a high degree of diplomacy and tact.
* Capable of sustaining case loads in excess of 45 files per month.
* Ability to work independently, analyze data and take appropriate action with minimal supervision.
* Experience with LP/DU
* Ability to read and evaluate Property Appraisals
