Job Description:

Superior Mortgage Corporation, a $1.2 Billion dollar financial institution with over 20 years in the mortgage banking industry, is hiring a Loan Processor for its King of Prussia PA office. We require a minimum of 3 years processing experience, with at least 1 year of FHA experience preferred but not required. Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of processing experience handling conventional and government loans.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

1)Â Â Â Responsible for a pipeline of up to 25-35 loans per month.
2)Â Â Â Reviews loan application package for completeness and accuracy, reconciles application against system input.
3)Â Â Â Responsible for gathering credit and other documents from the customer and third parties in support of the loan approval decision.
4)Â Â Â Verifies and validates supporting income, asset and liability documentation to ensure the validity of the approved system.
5)Â Â Â Income - Calculates and analyzes income structure (i.e. employment verification, tax returns, paystubs etc)
6)Â Â Â Assets — Calculates and analyzes funds to close (i.e. verification of deposits, gift money, 401K, sale of assets, etc)
7)Â Â Â Liabilities — Reviews and verifies credit reports (i.e. FICO pay history, validate other debts and other mortgage real estate owned)
8)Â Â Â Determines if loan conditions on approved loans are satisfied by reviewing income, asset and liability documentation, appropriate, reviews and analyzes preliminary instructions.
9)Â Â Â Reviews incoming documentation within 24 hours of receipt.
10) Prepares the transaction for closing by ordering payoffs and title as applicable and gathering 3rd party fees from the closing agent.
11) Complete the processing checklist prior to putting the file in closing.
12) Support person for loan advisors and borrowers with focus on customer service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

I.        SKILLS:
Microsoft Office, multi-tasking, strong oral and written skills, team player, self starter, detail oriented, ability to work well under pressure and time constraints. Familiarity with Calyx Point Software.

II.       KNOWLEDGE:
-         Calyx Point Loan Origination Software      Â
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Principles, practices and regulations applicable to real estate and mortgage lending.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Interpretation and application of lending documentation, credit reports and income and asset calculations.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Techniques, tools and terminology relative to the appraisal process sufficient to read and understand collateral review.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Industry standards and guidelines for saleable and portfolio loan transactions.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Perform standard credit and income analysis.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Meet department volume goals and established service standards.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibilities.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Keep abreast of changes in policies, procedures and regulations applicable to work unit.
III.      EXPERIENCE:
       3+ years of related mortgage processing job experience. The ideal candidate should have experience and be familiar with FHA and automated underwriting systems (DU/LP).
