Job Description:
MUST HAVE FHA, DU, & LP EXPERIENCE Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Opening loan file in Loan Origination Software
-Pulling and reviewing credit report
-Verifying that documentation provided by Loan officer and borrower matches loan application
-Running loan file through automated underwriting engines as appropriate
-Collecting all necessary documentation needed to submit loan file
-Submission of loan file prior to commitment date to loan officers investor of choice
-Typing of pre-approval or approval letters
-Ordering title, insurance, flood and whatever other documents are needed to clear the file to close
-Turning file into closing department clear to close with all necessary documents, i.e. flood, hazard insurance, title commitment, MI certificate (if necessary), termite if government loan etc.
-Communicate with all interested parties status of the loan file.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a mortgage loan processor.
-Must have DU & LP experience.
-Must also be able to type, use the 10 key and know Microsoft Office products.
-Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
-Must be able to work independently and research problems and questions as required.
