| RESPONSIBILITIES: Registration Specialist>Receives loan application either through fax, e-mail or hard copy from brokers and/or account executives. Registers loans on Power Lender either through fax, e-mail or hard copy. Assemble and maintain loan files in accordance with Wachovia policies. Enter date into the online system each stage of processing as required. Logs files into Prospect for tracking purposes. Prepares and mails 3 day disclosure package to borrower. Audit loan applications for accuracy and completeness. Monitors status of mortgage loan and prepares loan for underwriting. Reviews files for appropriate compliance documents. If not there, works with underwriter I to ensure that all documents in loan file are complete. Obtain and compile copies of loan applicant’s credit histories, corporate financial statements and other financial information. Distributes loan files to underwriter I for pre-underwriting. Copies packages as necessary prior to sending out to retail fulfillment sites. Sends completed loan packages for submission to fulfillment centers via UPS. Opens and distributes all incoming correspondence. Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS: High school or equivalent. Intermediate or higher PC skills with software and internet navigation. Superior Communication skills. 1-3 years of mortgage loan processing experience. Capability to analyze information and use logic to address work related issues and problems. Excellent customer service skills.Time management and prioritization skills are a must. Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm |
