We are currently seeking a talented individual to fulfill the position of Retention Loan Officer. The primary function of the Retention Loan Officer is to sell Equity One mortgage products by providing excellent customer service, based on MAGIC principals, to both present and potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Solicitation of existing customer base to offer Equity One mortgage products and promote long-term business relationships.
- Obtain complete and accurate applications and supportive information required to generate a beneficial mortgage proposal.
- Assist our customer service and collections departments with customer inquires regarding mortgage products.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- 1 year of mortgage sales or consumer finance experience
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
- Basic knowledge of mortgage processing and/or underwriting
- General PC knowledge
- An offer of employment, and continued employment, is contingent upon satisfactory results on a credit check, background investigation, and verification of previous employment
