Immediate opening for an experienced LOAN OFFICER to originate company provided referrals and leads in a high growth, stable, fast paced Mortgage Banker office located in Houston.

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• At least two (2) years of origination experience.
• Self-starting licensed professional with drive and determination to close 10+ loans per month.
• Superior customer service skills and strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrate excellent communication (written, oral, telephone).

Working knowledge of POINT, AUS and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and data in all communications.

• FHA and commercial experience a plus.

Bilingual preferred but not required.

DUTIES:

• Convert inbound ad calls and in house referral leads to originations.
• Evaluate, process and determine the probability of achieving the borrower’s loan request objective.

• Analyze current financial position of applicants to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Maintain solid product knowledge.

Offer clients the best mortgage products that fit their needs.

Create and maintain excellent relationships with our clients, partners and vendors.

• Work with clients and internal support staff to ensure the timely completion of each loan.

This is a commission base position where sky is the limit.
